Mrs. Grigsby joined Ascent in 2015 as Executive Vice President – Chief Financial Officer. She previously worked at Chesapeake Energy Corporation for 19 years in management roles including her most recent positions as Senior Vice President, Corporate and Strategic Planning and Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Corporate Secretary. Prior to Chesapeake, Mrs. Grigsby worked for Commander Aircraft Company and Deloitte & Touche, LLP in various accounting and supervisory roles. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Oklahoma State University and a Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in finance from Oklahoma City University. Mrs. Grigsby is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant.

Keith Yankowsky joined Ascent Resources in 2016 as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Ascent, Mr. Yankowsky served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Magnum Hunter Resources in Dallas, TX. He previously spent nine years at Chesapeake Energy in a variety of leadership roles, most recently as Vice President of that company’s Appalachia South Business Unit. Mr. Yankowsky gained international experience during his tenure at Burlington Resources. Prior to that, he worked at Conoco Inc. in both Midland and Houston, TX. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering at Marietta College and has served as a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers since 1983.

Mr. Shughart joined Ascent in 2020 as Executive Vice President - Chief Financial Officer. He previously worked at First Reserve, an energy focused private equity firm, for 8 years in various roles including his most recent position as Managing Director. Prior to First Reserve, Mr. Shughart worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group for Credit Suisse. Prior to Credit Suisse, he held positions in the energy groups of Lazard Freres and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette / CS First Boston. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin.

Mrs. Cook joined Ascent in 2015 as Senior Vice President & Chief Accounting Officer from American Energy Partners where she served as Chief Accounting Officer. Mrs. Cook previously served for 19 years at Chesapeake Energy Corporation, most recently as Vice President and Division Controller - Financial Analysis and Reporting since 2006. During her tenure at Chesapeake, she played a significant role in its filing of over 70 public debt or equity offerings and the initial public offerings of Chesapeake Midstream Partners, LP (later Access Midstream Partners, LP) and the Chesapeake Granite Wash Trust. At Chesapeake, Mrs. Cook was also responsible for corporate financial reporting, including SEC reporting, accounting process and data management, tax and budgeting and forecasting. Prior to joining Chesapeake, she worked as an audit manager for Deloitte & Touche for six years. Mrs. Cook earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma and is a Certified Public Accountant.
