Since 1960, the Asheville Symphony Orchestra has been performing and promoting music for the benefit, enjoyment, and education of the people of Western North Carolina. This non-profit corporation presents seven full orchestra Masterworks concerts per year in the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium in Asheville 's US Cellular Center. It presents concerts featuring internationally renowned as well as local guest artists.
