    The Event Coordinator supports the sales department in executing the important behind-the-scenes administrative functions that keep the Store functioning efficiently. The Event Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales department by way of completing administrative duties & confirmation calls to finalize event details. Additionally, the Event Coordinator participates in the exciting sales process and is responsible for a portion of booking our valuable social market. YOU WILL BE AN OUTSTANDING EVENT COORDINATOR IF: • You are friendly and demonstrate a “You Got It” attitude • You demonstrate good decision-making skills and can communicate effectively with guests, Sales Team and Management Team • You can communicate clearly and regularly with Operations, the Sales Team and guests • You can clearly verbalize guests needs to Operations and other Team Members • You have strong organization skills • You have strong verbal skills • You are able to analyze basic data to help Operations and the Sales Team with decision making • You can read and communicate in English ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITES: • Go above & beyond to ensure the needs of each Special Events Guest are met, communicating all requests from host to ensure all contracts are updated accordingly. • Take RFP's and calls for social events, converting them to closed “won” business. • Conduct Site tours as needed. • Ensure accurate and prompt distribution of all paperwork for “pop up parties” working through management team to ensure they are staffed to support. • Provide administrative support to the Sales Department including follow up on calls/emails/tasks with Event Host after the sale is “closed won”, communicating to Operations any changes to BEOs or updated signed contracts. • Follow up on AR's, collect payment information, and close out any remaining balances. • Submit check requests/invoices as needed. • Ensure Operations has the most up-to-date BEO for each event. • Offer “upsell” opportunities to Event Hosts after sale is “closed won”. Because we expect you to “Act like you own it” your job includes everything listed above PLUS the ever popular “other” duties as assigned”.
