SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Executive Director of St. Labre Indian School Educational Association, directs and coordinates the administration of St. Labre, St. Charles, Pretty Eagle, Aashbacheeitche Crow Immersion schools in accordance with the expectations of St. Labre Indian School Educational Association, the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings, the State of Montana, and appropriate accrediting entities by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.

Provides leadership in developing and implementing a college preparatory educational program which integrates and balances the following critical elements: Roman Catholic, Native American, Academic Excellence.
Sets challenging goals and provides effective feedback for the attainment of goals.
Ensures the implementation of a guaranteed, viable curriculum.
Participates in recommendation and selection of school sites, construction of buildings, and administers provision of equipment and supplies.
Communicates regularly with parents and community members regarding direction and activities of the school either through publications, mailings, or in person. Engages the support of parents and the community through these actions.
Ensures a safe and orderly environment.
Facilitates work of local St. Labre School Advisory Committee - acts as primary contact, provides reports, material, information and other support to enable the committee to effectively perform its functions.

Assures compliance with standards of appropriate accreditation agencies, including Montana Office of Public Instruction and Western Catholic Education Association (WCEA).
Performs all aspects of supervising principals, teaching personnel, and school support staff.
Maintains membership in relevant professional associations including National Catholic Education Association, National Indian Education Association.
Directs preparation and presentation of school budget and determines amount required to finance educational programs. Manages school budget after approval by St. Labre Board of Directors.
Acts as point of contact for the Superintendent of Montana Catholic Schools.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages 10 to 12 subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 120 to 135 employees in the St. Labre, St. Charles, Pretty Eagle, and Aashbacheeitche Crow Immersion schools. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Continually monitors serving line and restocks as needed so server does not have to leave line.
If required to take count, observes students' trays at the end of the serving line, verifies that each meal served qualifies for reimbursement and marks the count in the appropriate grade slot. If the meal is short of meeting the requirement, instructs the student to go back to the line to take another item and qualify the meal. If the student does not want to take the meal, charges the student a la carte price for all items they have taken. Totals counts for all student and adult meals and compares to the servers count at the end of the meal. Determines and records the reason why if the count does not match.
If required to serve, regularly monitors the temperature of foods on the serving line to insure all items are kept at a safe temperature (hot food hot, cold food cold) and records the time and temp on the production records or the servers portion & temperature guide. WORK HOURS
Regular school year work schedule is one full week before the first day of teacher orientation and two full weeks after the last day of school; 40 hours a week, 8 hours a day with two 15 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch break. Due to special functions, overtime is often required. Work schedules and hours may be rotated or adjusted by the Head Cook or Food Services Director. DRESS CODE, PERSONAL HYGIENE

Hair restraints, uniforms and slip-resistant hard-toed shoes with adequate arch support are required at all times while on duty. Uniforms will be provided by St Labre. Aprons and serving gloves, and protective gloves are also required much of the time. Protective safety gear is required when specified by material safety data sheets.

SUMMARY
Teaches students on various aspects of home management, including foods and nutrition, textiles and clothing, home management, human development, and living environments. They also create engaging lessons, provide individualized instruction, and ensure a safe learning environment.

Plans and develops course of study following curriculum guidelines of the school.
Develops and presents specific lesson plans using a variety of means, including lectures, projects, group discussions, exhibits, field trips, audiovisual and library resources, computers and the Internet.
Prepares assignments and tests for in-school preparation and homework.
Monitors, assists, corrects, and grades student performances. Be able to adjust teaching strategies and techniques for improved content delivery.
Conducts standardized tests in accordance with school policies and state law.
Maintains order in a classroom, and administers discipline when necessary to achieve proper behavior.
Shares, with other teachers and aides, responsibility for monitoring halls, study periods, and lunchroom.
Counsels students when academic difficulties or behavioral problems arise.
Keeps records of academic performance, attendance, and social acclimation. Reports on all aspects of student development for school records and parents; conducts parent-teacher conferences on both a regularly scheduled and as-need basis.
Consults with other professionals where there appears to be evidence of learning disabilities, drug or alcohol abuse, or problems of social adjustment. Coordinates decisions with parents concerning specialized interventions that appears warranted.
Works with counselors in helping students to select a course of study or college.
Participates in faculty meetings, educational conferences, professional training seminars and workshops.
