DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Field Human Resource Officer 3, you will be responsible for directing field personnel through daily assignments and offering guidance to management at each institution regarding the interpretation and application of HR policies and various collective bargaining agreements. Work involves activities related to employee relations, recruitment and placement, absence and attendance, as well as workers' compensation programs. You will serve as a point of contact for employees, executive staff, and other HR staff, answering questions concerning all facets of HR. Effective communication is essential in this position as you will work closely with EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity) staff by reviewing and addressing all complaints of discrimination and/or harassment. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week upon successful completion of a 6-month probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office at SCI Mercer, SCI Cambridge Springs, or SCI Albion.
