OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Assembles by hand or using hand tools or portable powered tools or operates equipment as necessary to produce or process products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Loads and unloads previously setup machines, such as arbor presses, drill presses, taps, spot-welding machines, riveting machines, milling machines, or broaches, to perform fastening, force fitting, or light metal-cutting operation on assembly line
Lays out reference points, fabricates, and assembles according to blueprints and engineering specifications
Scribes cutting and bending lines on prefabricated parts and cuts, bends, and trims parts according to layout
Uses hand files or portable grinders to clean parts or to produce close fit between parts
Aligns components, and bolts, screws, or rivets them together
Installs and tests moving parts
May be assigned to different workstations as production needs require or shift from one station to another to reduce fatigue factor
May be part of a crew and assist skilled operators in performance of skilled function
May work at bench as member of assembly group that processes or assembles one or two specific parts and passes unit to another worker
May assist with shipping and receiving
May repair units that fail to meet specifications

Key Responsibilities
New Product Introduction (NPI)
* Receive training from Business Units on newly developed deposition processes (e.g., PEALD, PECVD, Epitaxy, LPCVD) and hardware.

* Collaborate with field hardware, service, and sales teams, as well as Business Units, to troubleshoot new product issues and propose design/process improvements.

* Crucial: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with DRAM and NAND device integration and technology development.
* Crucial: Proven experience in advanced packaging integration and process development, including wafer-level hybrid bonding, fusion bonding, die-to-wafer bonding, and HBM.
* Strong foundational knowledge in vacuum techniques, film characterization and metrology, and thin film ALD deposition processes and equipment.
* Preference given to candidates with a track record of optimizing film deposition and process development, especially with ASM ALD, PEALD, PECVD, and Epitaxy.
* Experience with Design of Experiments (DOEs), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and statistical analysis methods.
* Proactive in supporting escalations, developing and managing action plans, and facilitating clear communication among customers, local service teams, and business units.
* Willingness to travel to Business Units for training and technical engagement, and to customer sites as needed. While the primary focus is onsite in Boise, travel may be required for escalations, process transfers, and support of HVM sites both domestically and internationally.
