Primary responsibility will be to install, troubleshoot and repair a variety of industrial products that include, but are not limited to; printing and packaging equipment, cash recycling products, inserting and sorting machines, credit card attaching and processing systems, robotics and any other applicable third-party accessories attached as part of the system.
Schedule and perform regular predictive/preventive maintenance inspections on equipment.
Provide support by managing parts inventory, customer service calls and preventative maintenance schedules.

The Customer Support (CS) organization is responsible for the installation, qualification, repair As and maintenance of the ASML systems at customer sites and the necessary transfer of know-how to the customer. This internship sits within our Field Applications Engineering team that partners with the local technical support and sustaining teams to optimize the machine's performance (Overlay, imaging, and productivity) for the customers products.
Your assignment:
* The goal of the internship is to work in a team environment alongside local experienced engineers, project managers, and leaders to gain insight on the ASML ways of working and our groundbreaking technology.
* Specific projects will be tailored to match the education/experience level of the intern as well as the interns learning objectives for the summer.
* Interns will typically be required to document and present their findings as well as making an end of summer presentation to the group about what they achieved during their internship.
Past projects have included:
* Identifying and documenting goals and targets (KPIs).
* Evaluating current processes and updating documentation to adhere to continuous improvement methodologies (LEAN/6 Sigma).
* Creating data visualizations to identify potential opportunities for automation (Tableau/Power BI/Python/SpotFire).
* Collaborating with Engineers from other areas and shifts to identify Best Known Methods (BKMs).
* Participating in projects to improve performance of the.
Education and experience
* Minimum 60 hours completed towards a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field and an expected graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027.
* Preferred Majors: Physics, Optics, Optical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Micro-electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering or IC manufacturing.
* Knowledgeable in MS Office applications - Excel, OneNote, Teams, PowerPoint.

Escalations/Process Control:
* Develops and conducts analyses on complex data sets considering ASML processes.
* Drives insight generation through comprehensive data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations, enabling informed decision-making, strategic improvements and enhancing predictability to prevent future escalations.
* Anticipate, Forecast, Respond to and process incoming emergency parts orders.
* Oversee and engage with executing administrative controls in the SAP system.

* Initiate, Follow up and Monitor daily escalations through technical support.
Planning and Field Support:
* Main contact for the local CS Service organization and colleagues providing the supply chain expertise to drive the best decisions.
* Drive the replenishment and allocation of parts.
* Analyze and review usage of local service and sales parts based on historical data and/or projected requirements and develop proposed stocking plans.
* Optimize spare part and tool planning mechanism in the US, completing analysis for the relevant machines and develop proposals to increase optimization.
* Monitor critical parts and influence stocking levels ensuring effective coverage.
* Served as the primary Arizona-based liaison to Business Line (BL) teams, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration.
Performance Management:
* Structure and optimize data systems to enable accurate and scalable KPI calculations across multiple business units.
* Architect the KPI landscape for both U.S. and global operations, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
* Ensure customer lead time and fill rate targets are met; NAV's are analyzed for root causes and corrective actions. Implement corrective actions.
* Secure and Present relevant performance reporting to stakeholders.
* Initiate alignment with local CS and Account Team on total demand plan (Service, FCO's, Install, UF) and matching supply plan on different planning horizons (short-medium-long); includes specifics on NPI's, such as definition and release status.
* Improve cooperation between local and central logistics covering volume and NPI's.
Customer Intimacy:
* Actively seek out cross-functional organizational leadership (CS, BL, CSCM UIR /AS ect) to understand the long term needs / challenges and provide recommendations to address concerns.
* Strengthen strategic customer relationships across the local organization to drive long-term value and alignment.
* Develop a deep understanding of Customer Service (CS) local operations and partner cross-functionally to identify and implement process improvements.
* Lead high-impact engagements with external customers, delivering comprehensive and data-driven reports that support strategic decision-making
* Conduct impactful data analyses that supported cross-functional teams in the U.S., including tailored solutions for key customers such as TSMC.
Continuous improvement:

Education and experience

EUV Technical Support Engineer - Source/Co2

Role and responsibilities
The holder of this position will be responsible for the EUV Vessel and/or CO2 Drive Laser. This position will require specialized diagnostic and HW skillsets in order to narrow down machine issues, replace critical components, and qualify system within set timelines. In this role, you will work closely with the Source Vessel engineers for critical HW replacements and escalations, and cross-training.
As a member of the EUV Tech Support team, the Tech Support Engineer (TSE) is responsible for providing technical expertise to the Fab Support team and Customer during machine issue escalations, complex repair execution, and sequence preparation, assisting and performing actions in-fab as needed. Physical Demand of the job:
* Shift: compressed work week schedule, rotating day shift to night shift; night shift to day shift, every 8 weeks (12hr shifts, 7am/pm-7pm/am).
* Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
* Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
