Department: UCHlth Centralized Telemetry FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days - 3-12 hour shifts- from 7:00 am. to 7:30 pm. Pay: $20.15 - $30.22 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option. Summary: Monitors patients on telemetry devices and monitors at-risk patients on Safety View devices. Responsibilities: * Performs surveillance of multiple patients and recognizes abnormal findings. Reports and documents findings. * Recognizes, intervenes, reports and documents abnormal findings or at-risk behavior during monitoring. Maintains telemetry records, rhythm strips and charting documentation in EMR. * Greets patients, answers phone calls and assists health care team with patient visits. * Performs clerical tasks as needed. * Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action. Requirements: * Education: High School diploma or GED, or in lieu of HS/GED, satisfactory completion of UCHealth-administered basic competency test is required.
