Site Inspection: Conduct site inspections to assess the subgrade condition, moisture levels, and compaction prior to asphalt or concrete installation. Communicate any issues or changes to the project manager. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all grading equipment is properly maintained, perform basic troubleshooting, and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs and servicing as needed. Project Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, labor, materials used, and site conditions. Provide daily reports to the project manager. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Experience operating grading equipment and other heavy equipment Possession of a valid driver's license. Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail. Skilled in reading site plans. Strong supervisory skills and ability to make decisions on-site. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
