ASRock company history timeline

2002

ASRock Inc. is established in 2002, specialized in the field of motherboards.

2007

Since then, ASRock has also gained momentum in the DIY sector and plans for moving the company upstream began in 2007 following a successful IPO on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.

2010

In 2010 it became part of Pegatron.

2011

In 2011, ASRock went on to be the third largest company in the world to manufacture motherboards.

Some of the major markets of the company in 2011 were Europe with a market share of 37.68%, Asia Pacific with a share of 40.95% and Central and South America with a share of 21.13%. Over the years, the sales figures of the company have shown a steady rise in the Asian and European markets.

2012

It was in the year 2012 that the company diversified into manufacturing and marketing industrial PCs and server motherboards.

During the 2012 Taiwan Brand Awards, three of the company’s products were shortlisted.

Additionally, in early 2012 ASRock enlisted the help of HWBOT world overclocking champion, Nick Shih.
