The Role:
As a Service Technician, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service and reliable door solutions to our customers. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade a variety of sliding, swinging, and rotating doors while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors, providing exceptional service at every interaction.
Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification.
Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 100 lbs., climbing ladders, kneeling).
Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
What You Will Need:
Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices.
Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage (120v) wiring (access control systems a plus).
Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred).
Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively.

Provides maintenance and technical support for Sullair products at customer field locations. Considered an expert on all Sullair rotary products and accessories. Must have broad knowledge and experience on competitive rotary products. Installs new products or enhances existing ones; may provide training and best practices for on-site customer personnel. Identifies and troubleshoots all possible malfunctions and conducts or schedules repairs. Prepare detailed service reports to document service visits, issues and troubleshooting actions. Document service visits and generate reports with action items. Support the Sullair Training Department for customers, distributors, and employees. Duties and responsibilities:
Performs any needed service on all Sullair rotary products without supervision
Travel to field jobsites for troubleshooting, and service of Sullair and competitive rotary products
Follow standard work for pre and post service preparation (submit expense reports, prepare service reports, make travel arrangements, complete timecards)
On call as scheduled for afterhours customer support
Follow all Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures
Communicate distributor feedback to Sullair management as Voice of Customer
Drive field concerns to closure in a timely manner
Support goal of service within the Service Department of 95%
Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to customers
Perform all duties in accordance with company standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer

Must be fluent in English and have a valid driver's license. Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI in the previous 5 years, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years
Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with continuous walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling
Employee will use company provided equipment and will be required to travel to attend company provided training
Employee is required to have their own tools to perform their job duties
Operate a company vehicle safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and HGAP policies

What You'll Do:
• Plan and execute fiber installation projects, both aerial and underground
• Install, maintain and repair fiber optic cables that are strung on utility poles or aerial infrastructure
• Operate equipment used for fiber optic cable aerial construction, including but not limited to aerial bucket trucks, lashers, drills, and aerial hand tools
• Anchor installations

What We're Looking For:
CDL (Class - A) preferred but not required
Must have a valid Driver's License and be insurable
One to two years of experience in an Aerial Tech role or Lineman School
Prior Aerial Lineman experience hanging strand and fiber/cable, placing brackets on utility poles, and experience with node/radio replacement
Occasional travel out of town
On call duties
Ability to safely and efficiently climb poles
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Location: Starting point is our office in Glendale, WI. Majority of work performed is in Southeastern WI and IL

What you will do
Under minimal supervision, conducts preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning and general servicing of systems (including detailed troubleshooting of systems). Responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction through direct, on site, customer interface. What you will do
Under minimal supervision, conducts preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning and general servicing of systems (including detailed troubleshooting of systems). Responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction through direct, on site, customer interface. With a high level of complete technical competence, mentors control technicians, service technicians and mechanical technicians on building automation activities. Properly completes required project and service documentation. Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related items. As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of service
How you will do it
Diagnoses and repairs complex control systems malfunctions requiring extensive knowledge of a variety of electronic or digital controls systems and ability to test and write modifications in multiple languages of systems software.
Consults with the customer through data gathered and site assessments. Provides field proposals for retrofits, upgrades and or enhancements to existing equipment. Assists sales by providing technical recommendations for sales leads.
Manages assigned work to meet professional and efficient execution of time and customer satisfaction. Reports problems or changes to management immediately. Interfaces with branch manager, service manager, service project manager or subcontractors on projects to coordinate activities as required ethically and professionally.
Provides sketches of field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections and drawings. May assist with job layouts and bid proposals.
Communicates with customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site. Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction. Meets regularly with customers to become familiar with operating problems. Keeps customer informed on the service provided, outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, and replacement. Promotes the sale of add-on work.
Adheres to all Johnson Controls and customer safety standards. Provides safety leadership and instruction to all control's technicians in the branch. Provides safety awareness while working onsite with Johnson Controls subcontractors.
Trains the customer in control systems operations. Delivers manuals and documentation to the customer for training needs as required.
Provides mentorship for certification of Controls Technicians and Service Technicians on complex building automation systems. Coaches, supports and trains the technical workforce on non-complex, non-critical equipment.
Compiles job documentation, such as certificate of completion, customer training form, training certificates and punch lists.
Conducts extensive self-study (reading, research and practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency in company's product lines. Completes certifications as required by the company.

Job Description
The Fiber Optic Splicer Technician position installs and maintains fiber optic cables as well as provides technical assistance in the design and testing of fiber optics. Responsible for ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our network systems through expertise in splicing techniques and equipment repair.
Duties & Responsibilities
Splice single mode and ribbon fiber
Fusion splice and terminate various types of fiber optic connectors
Interpret as-builts and splicing matrices
Installation and dressing of fiber optic cabling
Perform uni-directional, bi-directional, and power meter testing (OLTS)
Troubleshoot fiber optic links and certify fiber optic links
Respond to emergency situations to restore service outages
Report splicing matrix.

Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in fiber splicing.
Experience with single fiber splicing, ribbon splicing, power meter and OTDR.

Strong understanding and ability to read prints and diagrams associated with splicing.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) & the ability to interact professionally with customers.
Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
Valid DOT Medical Card.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced and quickly changing environment.
Ability & Willingness to travel and work evenings and weekends as needed. This position will require being able to respond to afterhours fiber outages.
Ability to work and climb up to 35 feet.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word).
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
