Position Description: Assembly Technician Position Summary: The Assembly Technician is a critical member of our team responsible for ensuring accuracy in parts assembly with a high attention to quality standards. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our organization. Key Responsibilities: Assemble sheet metal components using rivets, nut plates, and other hardware according to technical drawings Maintain a high standard of quality in all builds Work closely with the team to meet production schedules and ensure customer satisfaction Monitor inventory levels and communicate hardware needs Assist with general production tasks as needed Experience and Skills: Experience or interest in hands-on mechanical or assembly work Strong attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship Reliable and team-oriented with strong communication skills Ability to manage time, prioritize, and solve problems independently Comfortable using computers and basic Microsoft Office tools Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for long periods, climb ladders, reach overhead, climb stairs multiple times a day and lift up to 20 lbs. The ideal candidate has experience in light carpentry, is comfortable working with power tools and hand tools and enjoys hands-on, fast-paced work. Under supervision, this role involves performing various repetitive tasks on a sub-assembly line to produce high-quality pre-hung doors while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Assembler Responsibilities include: Measure, cut, assemble materials according to specifications Inserting or positioning materials for clamping Nail, screw, or fit components together using power and hand tools Ability to build, assemble, repair Physically capable of moving around efficiently Candidates should be comfortable with repetitive tasks and working under supervision. #IND123 Requirements Light Carpentry Experience: Skilled in basic woodworking and/ or carpentry Power Tools Proficiency: Comfortable and adept at using power tools such as saws, drills, nail guns.
