Our Manufacturing Assembler will work in our Manufacturing team and is expected to perform the essential duties listed below. Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Committed to Safety as a priority. Learn through hands-on training while focusing on achieving the necessary level of proficiency. Must be able to complete and pass the Solder training course and have the ability to maintain certification. Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Assemble mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies using hand tools and calibrated equipment. Follow blueprints, work instructions, and wiring diagrams to assemble mechanical and electronic devices. Crimp, stake, screw, bolt, solder, epoxy, press fit, and/or perform similar operations to join or secure parts in place, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment. Mount assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets on printed circuit boards and chassis. Connect component leads to printed circuit boards or routes and connects wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals and contact points using soldering procedures and equipment. May perform assembly operations under a microscope or another magnifying device. May be required to work in a Clean Room environment, must be able to adhere to the Clean Room standard operating procedure. Perform on-line go-not-go testing and inspection, using magnifying devices, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment, to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards. Learn applicable IPC standards. Must successfully complete solder training course (company provided). Strive for continual improvement to quality. Work efficiently to finish jobs in a timely manner. The Assembler I has ownership of the assembly stations assigned. They are responsible for safety, efficiency, quality, and overall productivity. The Assembler I will be expected to perform basic and intermediate assembly processes at within the department. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Follow a prism-based schedule. Ability to properly assemble basic and intermediate components within the Roto department which includes but is not limited to cleaning parts, tapping inserts, bolting and/or using self-tapping screws to secure components to main body part. Perform all aspects of product packaging including boxing, labeling, taping, stapling and stacking cartons using established pallet patterns. Knowledge of using basic hand and power tools. Willing to cross train as needed in all the assembly cells which include non-Foam line, Ingredient Bin line, LCD line, Ferry 11-line, Bus Cart line, Kits, Packs, Food Bar & FSG line, Routing, Re-box area. Print labels using computers and proper application methods. Perform FG (finished goods) transactions with all associated labeling requirements. Follow all established assembly procedures and work instructions. Access the ESP program via computer. Ability to follow verbal assembly instructions and repeat processes. Assembly Operators are responsible for the assembly of medical components, subassemblies, products, or systems. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following CathX Medical policies and procedures. Job Description Responsible for: Assembly of product components and parts; along with performing other basic sub-assembly procedures and equipment setup as directed. Will be working on brush contouring. Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to: Create assemblies per blueprint and specifications daily. Perform in process inspections. Meet production schedule. Request material from stockroom as necessary. Learn assembly-related functions for new products as required. Understand/perform all production processes without help. Assist in training of new personnel. Ensure policies and procedures are followed. Promote teamwork and constructive work behaviors. Operates a variety of mechanical and small precision hand tools to hand work parts and sub-assemblies for final assembly. Performs repair and rework of assemblies or sub-assemblies, disassembling, and rebuilding sub-assemblies or units, as needed. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Able to read blueprints, specifications and schematics. Soldering experience preferred but not required. Must have good oral, written communications and have a high level of moral and ethical codes. Must be able to read, write and speak English.
