The Senior Mechanical Assembler will perform a variety of tasks relating to production operations on electronics and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Targeted start date would be beginning to mid-January. Job Responsibilities: Install, assemble and inspect electronic components per documented work instructions. Interpret job routers, written instructions, wiring diagrams and schematic drawings for assembly of electronics. Demonstrate professionalism, leadership and initiatives on a daily basis. Perform a variety of inspections to ensure assemblies meet/exceed IPC standards. Perform pass downs with outgoing/incoming shifts. Disassemble and re-assemble, modify, rework assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Must be able to travel to Chantilly VA for up to 2 months for training Minimum of 5 or more years of mechanical assembly experience Must have meticulous hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) procedures Must be detail oriented and able to multitask Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written Must be able to work a flexible schedule in order to meet production and customer needs Experience with mechanical assembly Must be able to work a flexible schedule in order to meet production and customer needs High School Diploma or GED Targeted start date: beginning to mid-January 2026 Preferred Qualifications: Electronics assembly and inspection experience Knowledgeable of 5S/6S New Process Introduction experience highly preferred Experience with set up and training a team from scratch Soldering under microscope IPC-610/620 and JSTD 001 experience College degree Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
