Compensation:

Job DescriptionDescription:
The Production Assembler is responsible for sub-assemblies, final assembly, and quality of product for the customer. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints and technical documents to ensure accuracy and quality. The ideal candidate will have experience using hand tools and machines to assemble products with a focus on quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble hose and cable reels according to instructions and specifications
Assemble sub-assemblies and stage for final assembly
Assist with powder coating products to ensure durability and longevity
Prepare raw materials for production, including measuring and cutting materials
Inspect finished products for quality assurance to ensure they meet customer specifications
Maintain detailed production records and complete necessary documentation
Follow safety procedures and standard operating procedures to ensure a safe work environment
Ensure a clean and organized work area in compliance with company standards
Work collaboratively with engineering and quality teams to optimize efficiency
Assist with cross-functional tasks
Other Duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred
Ability to follow blueprints, specs, and written instructions
Proficiency in using hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to work while maintaining a high level of quality
Ability to lift assemblies up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Eagerness to learn new skills and support cross-functional tasks
Work Environment & Conditions:
The Production Assembler works in a production environment with exposure to tools, machinery and assembly equipment. The role involves standing, lifting, bending and handling assemblies for most of the shift. This role requires manual dexterity to assemble the product. PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed footwear, is required in designated work areas. This is a physically active role that requires teamwork, flexibility and a attention to quality.

PURPOSE OF POSITION
Mount completed mobile concrete mixing unit to the chassis of a truck and test, troubleshoot and repair all mobile and stationary units to ensure quality standards are met prior to shipping equipment to the customer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
More specifically, the person will perform:
Mechanical Assembly
Screw, nuts & bolts, rivets and other fasteners.
Plumbing PVC, galvanized, SS pipes and fittings.
Pneumatic hose/tube.
Mounting of mobile units to chassis.
Drill frame for tie down mounts.
Cut truck frame to ensure proper fit of unit.
Add cross member for each unit.
Install PTO and hydraulic pump to units.
Read blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
Testing of mechanical, electrical, air and hydraulic systems.
Program equipment for operation.
Perform final assembly inspection.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION - EXPERIENCE - COMPUTER SKILLS
High School Diploma/GED.
Solid math skills.
Use of power tools.
Use of hand tools and measuring equipment.
Knowledge of overhead crane and forklift operation.
Previous experience with blueprint reading preferred.
Welding experience a plus.
1 - 2 yrs automotive mechanic exp preferred.
EQUIPMENT
This position requires the following equipment/tool abilities:
Use of power tools such as: drill, jig saw, hydraulic hose crimper, hole saw, pneumatic impact guns and ratchets, overhead hoist and mag-drill.
Use of hand tools such as: Torque wrench, standard hand-tools, tape measure.
Forklift, pallet jack, truck cart.
