The responsibility of the Assembler is to take various molded products and trim and/or assemble them into finished goods within quality and efficiency standards. Duties and Responsibilities Pull and review work instructions prior to starting a job. Review production priorities.
Ensure that all necessary information and tools required for each job are in place before work begins.
Retrieves product for trimming or assembly and moves to designated areas when complete.
Finishes molded product using various methods designated for the job. These methods include, but are not limited to:
Use of hand and power tools
Use of pallet jack
Use of hot iron
Use of open flame
Completes product labels and ensures product is identified throughout each operation.
Responsible for final inspection of product and ensures that product is of excellent quality before shipping to the Customer.
Use of Reporting system to record production.
Maintains a clean and organized working environment.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
1-2 years' experience in manufacturing preferred
Effective communication skills

Able to work in a hot humid environment for extended periods of time.

Essential Functions:

Required Qualifications:
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment where designated, including but not limited to: safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, sleeves, etc.

Experience using basic hand and small power tools including drill, saws, sanders, measuring tape, level, etc.
Must be able to read a blueprint
Previous manufacturing and/or machinery experience preferred
Must be able to communicate and work in a team environment
Demonstrate basic computer skills
The anticipated pay range for this position is
$17.50-$23.00, hourly.
The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently standing and lifting heavy objects weighing 50 to 100 pounds. The employee is constantly walking, pushing/pulling, reaching, and climbing stairs. The employee is occasionally squatting, kneeling, and using fine hand movements such as tightening screws, bolts, and securing pins. Specific vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Environmental demands include working both indoors and outdoors and is seasonally exposed to extreme temperatures.

Prioritizes and multitasks with coworkers in order to meet or exceed production schedule requirements; acts quickly in crisis situations; and adapts easily and without hesitation to changing circumstances, new standards, requests, customer needs, etc.
Monitors related supplies, replenishes inventory using the FIFO method, requisitions necessary additions, and informs appropriate buyer or purchaser of possible stock-outs.
Works with team members to problem-solve and troubleshoot both complex and routine assembly, inspection, testing, and programming issues. Possessing a positive attitude, an open mind, being flexible, and the ability to experiment and use trial and error are absolutely critical to success.

Open to cross-training on multiple Teams/part numbers, recognizing ongoing cross-training is not limited to his assigned value stream area. 10. Will act a primary ‘coordinator' with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to identify areas for improvement and solving issue as they arise
11. Maintain an open line of communication with fellow associates to communicate concerns or ideas to Supervision in a timely manner. Included are issues regarding personnel, safety, quality, delivery, productivity, or general concerns relating to the assigned area. JOB DESCRIPTION:
Perform wiring on panels, devices and conveyors,
Can read, understand and interpret electrical, assembly and pneumatic prints.
Assist project lead assembler throughout the build from project start date through Quality Checkout and customer FAT and sign off.
Assist Electrical Engineering through entire testing cycle and make additional needed adjustments to ensure a successful customer FAT.
Must be able to wire a panel without supervision
Must be proactive in monitoring project success factors (schedule, budget, quality) and make suggestions to the Electrical Assembly Supervisor and Manufacturing Manager to assure they are maintained or surpassed on the assigned projects.
Take on a support role in the Quality Checkout Process and adhere to all Shuttleworth Quality and Assembly standards.
