Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled assembler to perform a variety of tasks as assigned in conjunction with the assembly of our product. You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. This position is responsible for safely performing high-level continuous work to quality standards. Responsibilities: * Perform repetitive progressive line assembly of parts, and sub-assemblies on any line within the plant, in accordance with predetermined standard work. * Read, understand, and apply method sheets, assembly diagrams, and blueprints. ? * Detect quality defects and unsafe conditions. * Be knowledgeable and follow all applicable safety rules and procedures. * Read print drawings to determine dimensions, design, and materials for construction. * Operate power pneumatic and hand tools required for performing job duties. * Effectively use measuring devices such as tape measures and levels. * Loading and unloading onto conveyors and carts, operating fork trucks, and hoists. * Work in a team environment and assist co-workers in other areas as needed/directed, suggesting process improvement ideas. * Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. * Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies. * Perform general housekeeping of the work area. * Tasks can include but are not limited to: brazing, soldering, operating machines and presses, hanging and unhanging parts, and performing quality checks and tests. * All other duties as assigned by the supervisor/team leader.
