What You'll Do
Read and interpret computerized shop drawings and work orders
Assemble commercial cabinets using woodworking equipment and hand tools
Work efficiently with team members to complete production goals
Support other departments as needed
Maintain a positive attitude and eagerness to grow in the millwork trade
Must-Have Qualifications
1+ year of experience building cabinets, furniture, or fixtures
Proficiency with hand tools and tape measures
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work safely in a shop environment
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to read architectural blueprints
Nice-to-Have Skills
3+ years of cabinet-making or finish carpentry experience
Familiarity with AWI (Architectural Woodwork Institute) guidelines

Team: Assembly
An Assembler is responsible for the assembly of motors, generators and drives.
Major Areas of Accountability:
Assembles rotor assembly on synchronous, induction/turbo and laminated spider jobs
Assembles exciter rotor and stators
Rectifier assembly, steel, glastic and turbo diode wheels.
Final assembly of synchronous, vertical, turbo generator and induction motors.
Other sub assembly, such as FDR Assembly (spool wound), main terminal box assembly and GDS transmitter and exciter field power supply assembly.
Does layout, fabrication and assembly of conduit and piping.
Arc weld assemblies and sub-assemblies
Set up and operate balance stand, large and Static
Engraves and places name plates and green tags equipment
Works in other areas of the Assembly Team skills matrix, may prepare and paint product, procure lumber, shipping cartons, shipping supplies and tools. May prepare and package shipments in boxes, skids/crates.
Completes necessary QA/Customer documentation.
Lift and move materials using forklift, pallet jack, overhead crane or jib crane.
Demonstrates a commitment to Continuous Improvement by identifying opportunities in day-to-day work.
Performs to ISO 9001 Quality Standards and abides to OSHA and EPA regulations.
Knowledge/ Skills/Abilities:
High School degree or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to be certified in overhead and Jib crane operation and forklift operation.
Ability to effectively communicate and work in small teams to assemble product
Physical Requirements:
