    Fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs sheet metal parts and products by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as required. Forming of Sheet Metal parts to required specifications. Hand forming as well as hammer form and rubber press form. Other tasks to support forming operation - such as polishing parts and deburring. Signs into and tracks work using an ERP system. Capable of diagnosing simple issues with parts, able to work with technical staff to diagnose more complex issues. Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products. Follows documentation to select gauge and type of sheet metal such as copper, steel, or aluminum, or titanium. Lays out and marks dimensions and reference lines on material to develop and trace patterns of product or parts or uses templates. Inspects each operation for conformance to prints / specifications. Moving products to other areas as needed. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Prior experience is a plus but not required. Willing to train mechanically apt person.
