This includes cleaning equipment, sweeping floor, organizing containers, discarding scrap raw material and rejected parts, returning unused raw materials and organizing tools and cleaning supplies in their assigned place. Helps train coworkers in correct processes, procedures and machine operation. Assists with the end-of-shift or end-of-day shutdown including equipment shut down as necessary. Helps process product designated as nonconforming according to NCMR instructions. Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards. Performs other duties as assigned. Read the routing carefully and report labor against the proper sequence. Review the work order for any special instructions. If the instructions are unclear, ask your lead person or supervisor for clarification. Request a production assembly drawing from your lead person, supervisor or inspector when one is required. Inspect all parts as they are being used. Flanges ( the joint between the body and cover ) must be inspected 100% with a .0015 feeler gage. The gage can go no deeper than 1/8 max. Check for porosity, torn threads, bad paint, missing features etc. Per instructions from your routings, drawings, lead person or supervisor. Lubricate all indicated threaded areas. Remove nonconforming or questionable material to designated areas until a determination can be made. Communicate any problems your having with the assembly ( i. E., bad parts, equipment, fixtures, tools, drawings or unclear work instructions) to your lead person, supervisor or inspector for corrective action. Clear your work area and put all consumable parts in their place after completing each work order. Return special tools, equipment and drawings to where they belong. Use down time constructively: fill your bins with consumable parts, clean your area and be prepared for your next work order or instructions.

As a Product Assembler at Husqvarna Construction in Olathe, KS, you perform assembly based on pre-determined work orders. You are responsible for assembling various types and sizes of cutting and sawing equipment, including concrete, tile, masonry, metal and hole saws or other equipment fabricated and assembled in Production. Includes assembly of individual parts and components. RESPONSIBILITIES Assembly * Receive pre-determined work order and parts from Lead Person or Supervisor. * Check to ensure that parts received are correct and in good condition and report bad or questionable parts to appropriate Supervisor. * Pre-assemble individual parts for assigned saws or trowels as needed, including wiring such items as engines, motors and switchboxes, and assembling engine components, water pumps, blade shafts and blade guards, front and rear axles, transmissions, cutting heads and other assemblies. * Use hand tools, and pneumatic tools to assemble components into completed saws. Includes processes such (but not limited to) as sanding, oiling, measuring, bolting, wiring, aligning, tightening, and torqueing. Ability to read blueprints and follow documented and written instructions. * Finish and touch-up completed saws and apply serial number decals. May include painting.
