Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the Assembler is responsible for a wide range of functions including preassembly duties and testing rebuilt units in the Production Department. The Assembler ensures that equipment is created and assembled efficiently and correctly. It is expected that the Assembler aims to be as efficient and consistent as possible when putting together equipment, troubleshooting problems, and repairing equipment to full functionality. The Assembler will be expected to cross-train on other functions and positions within the team and will be held to a high standard of service. Assembly Technician Tier II Job Summary: The function of this job title is to perform all phases of work entailed in the assigned operation. May perform various functions and run more than one specific operation as part and parcel of the scope of this position. Operations include machining, assembly, and painting of components and/or completed driveshafts.
