RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
•Use hand and standard power tools to assemble fabricated parts based on product-specific work instructions
•Read and follow electronic work instructions and Food & Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines and be aware of and adhere to all Quality requirements in the build process
•Perform tasks in finished product packaging, including but not limited to preparing accessories, wrapping, packaging and preparing products for shipment
•Notify Team Leader or management of any parts defects or documentation errors
•Adhere to the calibration schedule for all tools used at your assigned work stations
•Perform various tasks, such as the movement of product and fabricated parts at floor stations
•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
•Complete the annual CTPAT Security Training
•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
•Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
•Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times
•Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary
REQUIRED SKILLS

Education and Experience
High school graduate or GED preferred plus trade knowledge equivalent to completion of an apprenticeship program. Typically has 5+ years of machine assembly experience. Some experience as a working supervisor preferred.
Principal Duties
* Day to day responsibility for disassembly Inspection, documentation, balancing, assembly and testing of all machines processed through the repair department.
* Read and follow proper shop procedures. Must ensure all drawings, Engineering bulletins and any other type documentation is available and followed while executing basic assembly, test setups and fixtures
* Works from engineering drawings, specifications and verbal instructions.
* Interface with customer's on occasional review of repairs while protecting Andritz confidential information.
* Well organized, able to read O.D./I.D Micrometer and other measuring tools to insure dimensions are accurate. Organize disassembly and reassembly pictures. Good writing skills when describing root cause or reporting information to assist in quote preparation.
* Following the Quality Plan and assuring that Andritz Separation proper procedure and sign off duties are followed before any product shipment.
* Performs skilled fitting where prescribed tolerances are exacting and difficult to attain and meets all established quality standards.
* Interprets Production Order instructions.
* Plans assembly methods and procedures to assure efficient and timely progress. Ensure accurate time is charged to each production order and each operation is completed in SAP and forwarded to the next work center.
* Troubleshooting of machines. It will be common to have a machine on the test stand and have to troubleshoot high vibration, temperature, noise, etc.
