Job Summary
Assembles protection, communication, and control devices, such as switches, relays, solenoids, and control
systems, as laid out in drawings and wiring diagrams by performing the following duties.
Essential Functions
Uses fixtures, machines, presses, and tools to assemble parts according to prints and router including, electronic components, gears, wound coils, terminals, and switches.
Routing wires, cutting, and soldering wires to connect electrical units using hand tools and various soldering techniques.
Inspect and test wire assemblies using, ohmmeter, or resistance tester to test connections for resistance, shorts, and grounds.
Adjusts contacts, stakes units, adjusts springs, and shafts to meet specifications.
Maintain production report, while tracking and identifying component status.
Detail painting and/or engraving of parts as needed.
Performs other related duties and special projects as required and assigned by the Department
Manager.

A High School Diploma or equivalent.
