Diamond Mowers is looking for someone to join our night shift Assembly team. This person would report to the production manager and would be responsible for learning all products and builds quickly. We are looking for someone that focuses on details and demonstrates efficient time management. They would also need to feel comfortable reporting any critical obstacles to the Assembly Supervisor for planning purposes.
Key Roles:
Completes all assigned tasks thoroughly and efficiently every time.
Ensures accurate product builds every time.
Maintains high quality paint finish.
Ensures product operates correctly before shipping by conducting product testing.
Reports to Assembly Supervisor on how products work and where there are issues.
Responsibilities:
Ensure proper lifting techniques; including proper hoist usage, asking for assistance, or any other measure to ensure safe lifting techniques are completed.
Keeps a neat and clean work environment.
Communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
Learns all aspects of Diamond Mowers' product line continuously.
Maintains great attendance to ensure production plans are met and individual accountability.
Ability to communicate effectively with DM coworkers, vendors, and customers.
Strive for an injury free workplace through a “safety first” attitude.
Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
All other duties are performed as necessary.

Reads and interprets blueprints; checks shop orders to ensure that all necessary parts and accessories are readily available; and finds all necessary parts and accessories that are not with the current parts.
Positions parts and examines connections for correct fit; resolves assembly and production issues; reports quality issues and errors in production line; and informs supervisor of any shortages in parts or hardware
Arranges shaft and bearings and ensures that the center of the shaft is in the center of the housing and has an equal distance in radius in all directions. Connects the prop and ensures that it is the correct size (if possible). Connects lube lines (copper, plastic, stainless steel). Connects the motor and belt alignment.
Uses appropriate tools to assemble and fasten all parts on the fan assembly per Client engineering and quality standards.
Wires all necessary wires correctly and safely.
Removes small quantities of metal with hand files, scrapers, and die grinders to ensure proper fit between parts.
Verifies that everything from the shop order is completed prior to signing off on each unit.

Job Summary
Wiring signs for ballasts, sockets, and other lighting applications as well as cutting, installing trim and service doors into sign frames.
Job Responsibilities
· Operate and maintain power shears, grinders, sanders, router, hipot tester, screw gun, drill, air riveter, and other tools.
· Use overhead crane to move large frames and use cutting torch and/or plasma cutter for cutting and installing service doors.
· Read and understand job packet to include reading diagrams for wiring.
· Record necessary data ie: materials used, time cards, etc.
· Observe company safety rules and practices.
· Maintain assigned equipment.
· Operate 12' and 4' shears.
Requirements:
Education and Experience
· High School diploma or GED required
· Manufacturing experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Electrical experience preferred
· Cognitive thinking skills
· Ability to read tape measures and follow measurements
· Read tape measures and performing simple math ie: %, angles, radius, sq.ft., etc.
