The Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri, provides a graduate-level education to train men and women to embody the mission of the Church as informed by scripture. Its goal is to make spiritual and community leaders out of students, cultivating them with the knowledge, skills and passion to evangelize the world. The seminary upholds the Pentecostal tradition, affirming the Bible as God's written word and the infallible, inspired authority for faith and personal conduct. The school is affiliated with the General Council of the Assemblies of God. Admissions require students to be dedicated, born-again believers who are emotionally suitable for Christian service, and to have earned a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a qualified four-year institution with a GPA of at least 2.5. Examples of academics at the seminary include master's degrees in Divinity, Christian Studies, and Intercultural Ministries; doctoral degrees in Bible and Theology, Ministry; and certificate programs in Leadership, Evangelism, Biblical Foundations and more. Students enrolled in any program except a Ph.D. in Intercultural Ministries, Doctor of Missiology, Distance Learning and Church Life Resources program may be eligible for tuition discounts if a Tuition Discount Application is completed each semester. Students who complete the FAFSA may be eligible to receive financial aid through federal subsidized or unsubsidized loans and private loans.
