Job Description Production Team Members work efficiently, in a safe manner, maintain high quality standards, and help to ensure that guest expectations are met. Positions include forklift operation, machine operation, and product assembly. There are many advancement opportunities to move into leadership positions and grow with the company. Primary Responsibilities: Forklift positions Loading material in the warehouse, yard, and onto outgoing trucks. Manual counting and scanning of units. Forklift Positions Some (not continuous) bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting up to 75 pounds. Previous forklift training, licensing, or certification is preferred. Machine Operation Positions Continuous standing with infrequent lifting up to 75 pounds. Bending, squatting, walking, and twisting. Production Associate Primary Duty: Manufacture, assemble and package Steel Ceilings products to produce needed items in the pursuit of customers' orders as directed by the team lead and/or supervisor. Additional responsibilities include material handling, crating and machine helper duties. We have opportunities on day shift (5:30am - 3:30pm) and evening shift (3:30pm - 1:30am). Evening shift receives an additional $1/hr shift differential. General Duties: Maintain a clean safe working area including sweeping, opening scrap, emptying dumpsters, trash cans, etc. Observe all safety precautions and plant regulations to prevent injury to self and others or damage to material or equipment. Upon training & qualification, perform miscellaneous duties as required including machine operation (turrets, brakes, presses, panel benders, tube benders, etc), final panel assembly, infill pad creation, crating, forklift operation, inventory counting, and assisting others. Working Responsibilities: Follow all Company and OSHA Safety Policies. Assemble materials and package finished products for transport to customers. Operate machinery or stations as instructed by the Team Leader to meet scheduled demands. Ensure that the standards for quality, output, safety etc. are adhered to and improved upon. Keep accurate records of production, waste, quality checks undertaken. Properly maintain equipment.
