Production Associate opportunities for various shifts are available. $14.00 - $16.00 hourly (depending on shift).

1st Shift - 6am to 2:30pm, Mon-Fri

2nd Shift - 2pm to 10:30pm, Mon-Fri

3rd Shift - 10pm to 6:30am, Mon-Fri

Production, Manufacturing, Warehouse Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Packing and unpacking product
• Loading and unloading cylinders for the HPP machine
• Stacking and building pallets
• Labeling and code dating product
• Sanitation duties as assigned
• Following health, safety, and cleanliness standards
• Work on an assembly line
• Ability to communicate in English (speak, read, and write)
• Excellent attendance and punctuality for an hourly role
• Other duties as assigned

Production, Manufacturing, Warehouse Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to perform basic mental math
• Ability to balance productivity, quality and safety
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to effectively work with others and as part of a team
• Refrigeration, warehouse, production or manufacturing experience preferred

Production, Manufacturing, Warehouse Work Environment:

• This role operates in a wet and cold/refrigerated environment (around 35 degrees F) located within a manufacturing, warehousing, and production type facility. Must be able to withstand cold temperatures for 8 hours a day.

Production, Manufacturing, Warehouse Physical Demands:

• This is largely a static role with standing, however, the ability to perform repetitive bending and standing up is also required. This would require the ability to lift 10-35 lbs. repetitively and up to 45 lbs. occasionally. Must also be able to push/pull up to 250 lbs on rollers occasionally.

Summary/ Objective

2285 Assembly Associates manufacture, assemble and support the production of C.H.I. foam core doors and related products. This could include the production of doors, door assemblies or other support components.

Essential Functions

1. Reads production lists and performs work as assigned by department supervisor or foreman.
2. Lifts, saws, cuts, clips, drills, presses, snaps, glues, caps, paints, insulates or otherwise assembles the materials to produce garage doors and/or assemblies.
3. Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
4. Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
5. Uses hand tools and other industrial equipment/machinery in the fabrication, packaging and movement of garage doors or related products.
6. Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
7. Place finished goods in the proper area for shipment.
8. Maintain a clean and safe work area.
9. Other reasonably related duties as assigned.

Work Environment

While performing duties in a production role, Associates are routinely exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, sharp objects, equipment and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. –

• Standing: up to 12 hrs.
• Use of both hands, arms and shoulders (full range of motion)
• Walking for extended periods of time
• Using hand tools, power tools, and other industrial machinery/equipment
• Lifting up to 60 lbs. repeatedly, throughout a possible 12 hour shift
• Required to talk, hear, read and write
• Use of hands to finger, handle or feel (full dexterity)
• Able to perform all requirements at a fast rate of speed in order to keep up with the production line

Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work

This is a full time position, and it regularly requires long hours and at times, extensive overtime.
