To lead and motivate a group of production operators to meet the company's goals in terms of quality, schedule, yield and productivity according to procedure.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•To assist the Manufacturing Supervisor in managing the line whenever necessary or when instructed and to drive operators in achieving satisfactory level of machine utilization and efficiency with minimum downtime.
•To highlight to Manufacturing Supervisor when there is high fallout.
•Achieve daily standard set by Manufacturing Supervisor.
•Able to identify and develop potential operators in handling the right equipment at the right time and motivate operators for greater throughput, quality and efficiency.
•To guide and assist the operators in the skills required to do their jobs.
•To monitor and update hourly production status.
•To monitor CIQ system and ensure it is implemented in the production line properly. Ensure work meets or exceeds all standards.
•To serve as a communication link between operators and management.
•Or a combination of education, experience and/or training.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

•Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
•Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
•Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
•Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.

+ Schedules the work of the Production Department

+ Responsible for meeting department productivity goals

+ Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies

+ Reads and deciphers schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions

+ Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts

+ Conducts quality control checks

+ Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools

+ Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials

+ Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies

+ Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs

+ Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

+ Maintains inventory by checking stock to determine supply levels, placing, and tracking orders, and verifying receipt of supplies

+ Documents actions by completing production and quality forms
