In a safe manner operate and maintain various types of manufacturing equipment/hand tools and materials while efficiently processing glass as part of an assembly line operating at fast pace and adding value on each station as glass travels through it and finally packaging all while complying with all safety, quality, and 5S/housekeeping standards. to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

* Inspect automotive glass as instructed to ensure conformance to quality requirements.
* Handling and applying chemicals directly to the glass in specific areas.
* Allocating components on glass surface according to specifications.

* Utilizing all established PPE at all times.

SUMMARY OF FUNCTION:


The Assembly Operator will assemble a quality product according to all specifications and maintain a stocked work station.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assemble & package product according to order specifications Assist other associates as required. Perform all prep & setup for order Stock and maintain inventory Cut and roll tangs Prep station items that support assembly & CNC Preventative maintenance and housekeeping Perform all other duties as directed by management

*Job Summary: *

The Injection Molding Assembler (Assembler) is part of the Production team. You are responsible for the proper assembly, labeling, and packing of molded product. You are required to follow all company-instituted safety and procedural guidelines at all times during your working hours. You are a key component in Leaktite's customer satisfaction by ensuring product quality standards are met, and notifying your shift supervisor of any product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.

*Responsibilities: *
* Assembles assigned product parts in accordance with verbal instructions
* Uses hand tools to carry out fitting and assembly operations
* Wears personal protective equipment (cotton gloves, Kevlar gloves, hearing protection, eye protection, etc.) in accordance with Company training guidelines
* Performs spot checks of products to ensure quality standards
* Notifies Shift Supervisor of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions
* Stacks product to prepare for packaging and shipment
