The Assembler Technician is critical in ensuring the structural integrity and functionality of aerospace products, demanding a high degree of precision and adherence to stringent quality and safety standards. The assembler technician will work from detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and instructions, employing a range of tools and machinery to execute their tasks. Their expertise extends to understanding and applying various materials, including composites, metals, and advanced alloys, which are essential in aerospace manufacturing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Receive incoming raw materials, inventory management and quality control.
Perform quality checks on products and parts: (review work orders and blueprints to ensure work is performed according to specifications).
Confirm shipment labels, content, and records match: (manifests, invoices, orders, etc.).
Effectively communicate damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications to supervisor and/or machinist to rectify issues prior to shipment.
If order ready: pack, seal, and label - queue for UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.

Perform assembly and sub-assembly of aerospace parts: sheet metal fabricated parts, high-precision machined parts, kits, and bench top assemblies.
Perform assembly and sub-assembly of a wide variety of aircraft parts per customer specifications, blueprints, and job orders. This involves:

* Work from and follow process specifications, work orders, blueprints, rework/rejection tags, schedules, schematics, layout & modification sheets, engineering orders and verbal/written instruction.
* Interpret document/instruction (above) to determine sequence and methods to assemble and repair sheet metal products.
* Pull parts from bin; report any shortages to Supervisor.
* Work different gauge/type of sheet metal aluminum according to product specifications.
* Clean components; load component parts onto jig/fixture.

WORK SCHEDULE

Responsibilities
Assist with the production of cannabis products, including preparing, packaging, and labeling

Experience with mixing using established recipes is preferred, but will train the right applicant.
Knowledge of scales and adjusting recipes based on production needs is preferred, but not required.

**Job Summary:**
The Cleanroom Assembler II works under close supervision performing assigned assembly processes to manufacture Crane Aerospace & Electronics products in accordance with military standards, Food and Drug Administration standards, and/or other assembly standards using visual aids, verbal and/or written instructions.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Read blueprints and specifications to determine component parts and assembly sequences of units; may also work from sketches and oral instructions.
+ Assemble parts or units, and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies using hand or power tools, such as soldering irons, solder suckers, wire strippers, high voltage soldering irons, resistance (module) welders, bench spot welders, nut drivers, torque wrenches, drill presses, sanders, and microscope.
+ Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.
+ Mark identifying information on parts.
+ Measure parts to determine tolerances, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges and scales.
+ Clean parts using iridite touch-up, solvents, degreasers, abrasives and other cleaning agents.
+ Set up and utilize properly all applicable jigs, fixtures, aids; adapt tooling to new uses or work without tooling as necessary to complete work assignment.
+ Remove and replace encapsulations and bonding, as applicable.
+ Coordinate with engineering relative to prototype or repair problems, as authorized.
+ May be assigned to set up equipment, interpret specifications, train and check accuracy of work of designated employees of lower classification.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Experience:
+ 2-3+ years' experience in assembly
+ Fine soldering certification or equivalent experience
+ Crimping background
+ Knowledge:
