This position is responsible for unloading Custom tempered glass at the Tempering unload. Proper glass handling techniques and minimal quality glass inspection a must.
12hr Shifts Available: Days 5:45am - 6:15pm ($20.00/hr.) Nights 5:45pm - 6:15am ($22.00/hr.)
Essential Job Functions
Near perfect attendance
Read/measure glass accurately with tape measure
Check glass quality and be able to identify basic glass defects
Place glass in correct Customer positions into bungees, harps and squeeze racks
Should be able to accurately reject glass from bungees and squeeze racks
Properly close finished orders
Must be able to properly edge delete glass without causing Quality issues
Read and fill out proper unload paperwork (run list, packing maps)
Should be able to set up customer orders properly
Communicate with the Q.A and furnace operator in regards to quality or breakage issues
Never allow the line to get backed up with glass
Must possess a high sense of urgency
