WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
The Concrete Production Worker is a key position at our Kapolei, Hawaii operation. From start to finish you are responsible for the production of quality precast concrete products. Working in the production plant you will be on your feet moving quickly through the tasks of your day helping us meet customer needs.
Reporting to our production supervisor, you'll primarily work with the production, quality control and yard teams.
A highlight of your day-to-day will include:
Performing a variety of production duties including setting up forms, installing inserts, removing excess concrete
Reading production drawings
Finishing concrete with various floats and other tools
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

SUMMARY
The Production Worker inspects donated items for defects and determines their appropriate outcome based on established quality standards. A Production Worker's responsibilities include sorting, pricing, tagging, and preparing both textile and non-textile items for sale, recycling, or disposal. The Production Worker requires meeting daily production quotas while maintaining a low error rate, adhering to safety protocols, and being available to work on weekends.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Removes item from bins or carts for close inspection to determine if item is saleable.
Scans clothing/textile items for defects such as holes, rips, tears, misaligned or missing fasteners or trim, and variations in color of fabric for clothing items. Examines fabric for holes or stains. Sorts textiles to determine quality and price or if item goes to As-Is, bale, or dump if appropriate
For non-clothing items, scans items for defects such as cracks, rust, broken or missing pieces, stains, and if item is operational. Sort and price item accordingly. Cleans item as needed.
Hangs, tags, and prices textile and non-textile items.
Works at different work stations as production needs require or stocking as needs arises.
Must meet the following production standards:
• Grade and sort 2.5 carts or 486 units per hour with an error rate of less than 5%.
• Complete (sort, hang, tag) ½ of a rack of clothing per hour or complete (sort, price) 4 totes of non-textile items per hour.
Conducts work in a safe and responsible manner utilizing protective clothing and equipment and complies with safety standards.
Responsible for awareness of and adherence to all company and safety policies and procedures.

Inspect donations to determine if items are sellable, sort them by type, and discard unsellable items appropriately.
Load and unload materials using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or dollies.
Safely operate lift-gates during loading and unloading procedures.
Coordinate with other crew members to organize and secure loads for safe transit.
Prepare donation receipts for house pickups and miscellaneous deliveries as needed.
Maintain accurate truck logs in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Observe all vehicle operation policies and report any emergencies to supervisors immediately.
Operate forklifts and other vehicles when certified.
Keep work areas clean and organized, including sorting and storing donations, metals, furniture, and bins.
Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Provide courteous and professional customer service during pickups or public interactions.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
