The Cleanroom Assembler, will be responsible for fabricating and packaging MaxCyte's Process Assembly (PA) Disposables and Sub-assemblies in a Cleanroom environment.
Fabricate and package Process Assembly (PA) Disposables and Sub-assemblies following engineering drawings, written assembly instructions and oral instructions.
Perform all duties within the Cleanroom utilizing and wearing approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) garments.
Utilize hand tools and/or equipment, such as cutting tools, solvent bonding dispensers and packaging sealer in the assembly process.
Visual inspection for particulates
Maintain the highest level of quality workmanship and productivity. Conducts all activities in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Manufacturing Batch Records outlined in MaxCyte's Quality Management System.
Suggest improvements to processes and documentation.
Work cooperatively with fellow employees.
Support all daily/weekly/monthly cleaning and maintenance processes for the Cleanroom.
Complies with all applicable health, safety, and environmental policies.

Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent; a demonstrable ability to perform duties using written and oral instructions in the English language
At least 1 year experience with manual assembly and production familiarization
Ability to safely lift up to 38 pounds

SUMMARY: The Assembler is responsible for performing assembly line tasks as well as identifying areas of improvement to increase efficiency. They verify the correct quantities of components parts and quality checking completed items, manage parts inventory and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures. In addition, the Assembler will have a commitment to, and support of the Company Core Values are key to success in this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Experience with Calipers/Micrometers, part marking, and riveting
Machine Shop experience a plus
Assembly experience a plus
Work with a team to assemble entire products or components
Rotate through tasks for specific production processes
Conduct quality inspections on products and parts
Prepare finished products for shipment
Maintain a clean and orderly work area
Uphold the company core values
Other duties as assigned

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers. Ability to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
