As an experienced mechanic, the Mechanic II has a high level of proficiency in assembling a wide variety of mechanical units and is competent to work independently in the majority of functions. Demonstrated competence in locating and following BAC shop paperwork. Must be flexible and able to adapt quickly to change. Demonstrated knowledge on knock downs, packing and crating procedures. Able to flex to other assembly lines with minimal training and supervision. Understanding of elementary and intermediate LEAN principles including 5S, Kanban, one piece flow, and basic continuous improvement techniques. Familiar with all appropriate procedures, policies, and standard work instructions for their area.
