Responsibilities include: Support flight experiment launch integration tasks, including: Packing, protecting, and shipping flight experiment and support equipment to the launch site. Support of hardware and software integration efforts in preparation for flight experiment launch, including mechanical installation, functional testing, blanketing, fueling, inspection, fairing closeout, range safety procedures, and day of launch processes. Draft, prepare, revise, and review design documentation including, but not limited to: User's guides. Test Processes/Procedures. Safety Plans. Qualifications Required: Minimum of 3 years of specialized experience which demonstrates the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Associate's degree Significant hands-on experience in mechanical and/or electrical systems assembly operations Sound knowledge of mechanical assembly operations and techniques, utilizing basic and advanced technical practices Ability to read and interpret models, drawings, schematics, and technical orders Ability to install, modify, test, repair, overhaul, calibrate, maintain, evaluate, and certify performance of complex integrated electronic and mechanical systems.
