Assembly Associate I - Monday thru Friday Job description Signature Systems is hiring multiple Assembly Associates for our DAY shift. Assembly Associates assemble finished products and the parts that go into them.You will use tool use tools such as drills, circular saws, torque wrenches, deburring tools, nail guns, band saws, hand routers and small sledgehammers. To be successful in this position, you must be able to read and use a tape measure. Essential duties include: Assemble and install screws and cams into semi-finished product (large composite/plastic mats). Weld mats with weld gun. Debur weld seams. Conduct quality control checks. Maintain and keep work area clean. Clean equipment and area before, during, and after shift. Work well with others in a team-oriented atmosphere. Regular, reliable, predictable attendance. We are seeking a Sub?Assembly Assembler to build and wire assemblies such as: power?distribution load boxes, control/communication panels, joysticks, and related mechanical assemblies. The role requires reading blueprints, schematics, and BOMs; installing LEDs, push?buttons, switches, handles, and fasteners; routing, dressing, stripping, and crimping wires; performing functional and workmanship inspections; and documenting results in work orders within our MRP system. Candidates must have 2?4?years of hands?on assembly experience (aerospace, defense, industrial, or automotive), be proficient with crimping, soldering, torque tools, and basic continuous?improvement methods (6S/Kaizen), and possess a high?school diploma (associate's degree or IPC?610/OSHA?10 a plus).
