ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Stripping forms by pulling finished cured goods off of forms and loading onto trailer. Cleaning forms after product is removed using a scraper, steel wool, shovels, sanders, solvents, etc. Setting up forms for pouring, including cutting and placing rebar, pulling or stressing rebar strand, tying mesh, and installing imbeds (including plates, vectors and core walls) and setting side rails. Pouring concrete, including placing, raking, and shoveling concrete. Finishing concrete using various tools/methods such as smooth float, steel trowel, brooming, raking and power trowels to achieve a desired finish. Sandblasting Duties Locating products stored in the Yard that have been approved for sandblasting. Sandblasting concrete surfaces according to the specifications of approved designs. Follows instructions, guidelines and procedures timely and accurately. Looks for ways to improve processes, reduce errors and increase efficiencies. Performing plant cleanup/housekeeping including putting away tools, sweeping debris and cleaning cluttered areas. Adhering to safety standards. Operating and maintaining man-lift, and other machinery including overhead cranes Driving yard vehicles, including truck, trailer, tractor and/or Tucker/Redimix truck on company grounds.
