Create charts, records, and graphs as assigned, and apply protective materials and parting agents to molds, forms, and dies. Notify supervisors of equipment failures and malfunctions and make temporary molds and dams from various materials as needed. Physical Demands and Potential Hazards: Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs. Engage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting. Handle and work with various metals (e.g., aluminum, brass, steel, titanium) and plastics (e.g., acrylic, fiberglass, kevlar) for 6-8 hours daily. Occasionally apply sealants, solvents, adhesives, cleaners, liquid coatings, and lubricants for 1-3 hours daily, ensuring proper use of materials such as epoxy, acetone, latex, and grease. Operate in proximity to moving parts and tools, sharp cutters, and potential slipping hazards. Adapt to varying noise levels and atmospheric conditions.
