The Assembler puts together pre-manufactured or purchased parts into products and packs, and prepares product for transfer to the Distribution Department. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! Assembles other parts as needed. Packs products into boxes for sale or case packs products according to instructions provided. Operates manual shrink machine by checking oven temperatures, selecting correct size bag, and hand sealing the bag. Operates the auto machine by checking the oven temperatures, feeding the product onto the conveyor belt, and completing roll changes. Operates packaging equipment such as the taping machine. Properly accounts for all products by completing necessary paperwork so production and inventory results can be accurately reported. Required Qualifications of the Assembler: Background check and drug screen (minus THC) is required upon hire. Three months related experience and/or training. Knowledge of basic math. Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts as needed.
