The role of the Production Worker is to perform necessary functions in order to efficiently, safely, and correctly prepare and process raw material to prepare it for cooking or cut & package finished product in preparation for shipment to customer.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Handling finished product, placing it continuously in trays or assembly lines to be shipped to our customers.
Making pallets by stacking boxes onto pallets, preparing the pallet with cardboard wrapping, manually shrink wrapping, and pulling/pushing pallets with manual pallet jack.

As a PC Caster at NewBasis, your day revolves around casting high quality covers and boxes using a variety of mold platforms. A Day in the Life - Polymer Concrete (PC) Caster at NewBasis
As a PC Caster at NewBasis, your day revolves around casting high quality covers and boxes using a variety of mold platforms. You'll prepare molds of different sizes, mix and pour polymer concrete, and reinforce each product with materials like fiberglass or rebar to meet strength and durability standards.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, reliable, and committed to following procedures and best practices to meet production goals and reduce waste.

Safety First - Follow safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, and wear required personal protective equipment

Production Goals - Meet daily output targets for on-time customer delivery
Work environment - Manufacturing facility with exposure to dust, noise, vibrations, and varying temperatures. Regular standing, bending, lifting, and use of hand tools and equipment.
What will help you thrive in this position?
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and materials handling.
Working knowledge of tools, common production equipment, and mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, work orders, and engineering drawings.
Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for long periods, and performing repetitive tasks.
Good physical condition, attention to detail, and team-oriented mindset.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Employees in this position start at $22/hour and have the potential to earn an additional $1/hour after 90 days.
Hourly employees are eligible for benefits the first day of the month following a 60-day waiting period. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage with company-paid life insurance, 401k retirement plan (with matching), voluntary LTD, STD, spouse and dependent life insurances.
Schedule
Experience a better work/life balance with a Monday-Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm schedule.
