As an advanced assembler, you'll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team In this job, you will perform a variety of assembly and test positions for IntelliRupter and Power Quality products. You will work in a production environment, engage in continuous productive activity, and must meet requirements within time constraints. Considerable initiative required to run and process all IntilliRupter units through test and assembly cells, a fast-paced multi-station process. As a Test Technnician, you'll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team that works to keep the lights on around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Assemble and test IntelliRupter products based on the documentation including bills of material, blueprints and any change notices provided by the engineering staff.
Complete testing at timing stations and run switch through 4 operations station.
Complete mechanical work including disconnect assemblies.
Experience troubleshooting electrical issues
You will be performing the following tests:
Timing Test capacitor voltage 425 DC
Partial Discharge Test AC voltage 50KV
Dielectric test 3 phase AC voltage 60KV-70KV
Calibration test parallel AC voltage 8.7KV-18KV in series 600 amps.
3 phase AC high voltage 8.7KV -18KV with 20 amps - 45 amps.
Low voltage test capacitor voltage 425 DC
What you'll Need To Succeed:
High voltage electrical experience is required to run the required test cells. 5KV / 3phase
Demonstrate the ability to work from complex blueprints, wiring drawings, schematic diagrams, and specifications.
Demonstrate knowledge and experience to troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues.
Demonstrate experience using and operating machining tools, hand-held tools, wiring equipment, wrenches, torque tools, and other tools.
Must follow all S&C safety standards.
Relevant Work Experience:
Two years of experience in electronic assembly and wiring with 5KV
2-year technical degree preferred.
Candidates with electrical or mechanical trade school education may also be considered in lieu of experience

As an Assembler, you'll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team that works to keep the lights on around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembling IntelliRupters at one of several stations, in sizes approximately 9' x 4' x 4'.
Identifying, transporting, installing, mounting and bolting all switch components (ranging from 5 lbs. to over 35 lbs. without equipment assistance). Some judgment required to assemble and make simple adjustments.
Performing mechanical inspection using torque wrenches, screwdriver and tape measure.
Using simple material handling equipment, hand tools, power tools, simple gauges and instruments, and overhead cranes, if required.
What you'll Need To Succeed:
Job Requirements ( To select this job at a minimum you must have the following):
Basic knowledge of mechanical assembly operations.
Ability to use basic shop math and measuring tools such as tape measures.
Ability to use air impact tools and other hand-held tools.
Ability to follow specific instructions and procedures and read assembly prints.
Mechanical assembly experience preferred.

Job Description
Under the direction of the Department Production Supervisor and in cooperation with the Team Leader, safely perform a variety of tasks to correctly assemble, fit, and join components in the production process of heavy and large mechanical products, per specifications and in accordance with the production schedule, making independent decisions with minimal direct supervision given appropriate instructions.
Key Deliverables
Accurately fill out the needed documents for all shipments assemblies.
Support the organizations by training/mentoring new associates when needed.
Take ownership role of for safety in general work area.
Perform accurate material transactions for the production line.
Support the production process by performing essential checks and taking corrective actions if needed.
Use tools properly to make or repair parts and products.
Collaborate with other lineworkers in order to assemble products.
Comply with all company and industry safety requirements
Key Activities & Responsibilities
Cleans and assembles component parts, machined parts, and subassemblies
Uses various hand tools, pneumatic tools, hydraulic tools, and precision measuring instruments to complete tasks
Removes burrs and rough spots from parts with hand file, hone stone, or portable pneumatic grinder
Operates overhead cranes and forklifts to move parts and materials in and out of work area and to assemble large components
Performs minor adjustments, repairs, or setups to equipment or machines under supervision
Perform all required job functions in a safe manner consistent with plant safety standards and report any problems immediately to the team leader or Department Supervisor.
Other duties as assigned: may include basic welding, washing, primer and painting of components or assemblies.
Performs correct material transactions on shop routings and fill out the appropriate forms for non-conformance parts.
Document's work done using appropriate check off sheets, photographs and documents all shipments assemblies.
Performs the essential checks and adjustments using appropriate processes, uses gauges or other measuring instruments when needed for proper assembly.
When necessary, train /mentor associates in job duties safety and lean activities.
Demonstrate ability to step up to leadership role within the organization.
Participate in lean activities and attain in-house lean certifications.
To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
Knowledge of commonly used mechanical concepts, practices, and procedures required.
Relevant trade school or college course work desired.
Ability to correctly use and read a tape measure, and read/understand job-related blueprints, required.
+ Heavy equipment manufacturing experience desired.
Ability to read drawings and blueprints accurately.
Able to operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
Computer experience desired, particularly the ability to use a mouse, and locate and open/close files.
Must be dependable, dedicated to completing work assignments correctly, and use time wisely.
Adept at problem-solving. Adaptable to new situations and challenges. Open to changes and new ideas.
Ability to satisfactorily work alone with reasonable and appropriate instructions, training, and supervision, and ability to work with others respectfully and professionally in a team environment.
