What Does An Assembly Manager Do At Ametek

* 1. Directly supervises production employees.
* Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws.
* Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating employee performance and setting development goals; coaching employees; rewarding and disciplining employees; setting and adjusting employee pay; addressing complaints and resolving problems
* Ensures production requirements are met; works with subordinate supervisors to address problems
* Synchronizes labor to complete as much work as possible within timeframes
* Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays
* Maintains time and production records; records and tracks employee attendance
* Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations
* Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties
* Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules
* Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or employees
* Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists employees in solving work problems
* Initiates or suggests plans to motivate employees to achieve work goals
* Recommends suggestions to improve the quality of product being produced
* Participates in regular staff meetings
* Communicates with production employees on a regular and consistent basis

What Does An Assembly Manager Do At One Stop Staffing

* Ensure proper staffing of all assembly related requirements to complete projects within schedule demands and within budget
* Establish verbal and written work instructions as required for the department
* Provide technical guidance to employees and consult with other resources as required
* Resolve departmental personnel issues as they arise
* Conduct employee performance evaluations in a timely manner
* Influence and enforce company policies and procedures constructively and harmoniously
* Assign Group Leaders and other members of project teams
* Provide support to lead personnel to ensure completion of all projects within budget and schedule
* Work with Project Managers and Engineering personnel to facilitate the building of quality projects
* Determine outsourcing needs to maintain project schedules
* Review labor charges, purchase requisitions, and schedules for the department to ensure accuracy and efficiency
* Communicate with the General Manager regarding current backlogs and schedules
* Conduct regularly scheduled department and CIT meetings
* Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethicalstandards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct
