Work Experience

• Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain material to be moved and/or operations to be performed.
• Performs various operations by hand, and using electrical or pneumatic hand tools
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, racks, conveyors and shelves by hand, and using electrical or pneumatic hand tools.
• Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.
• Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination or signals crane or hoisting operators to move load to destination.
• Counts, weighs and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales or other containers.
• Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together.
• Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and cleans work area, machines and equipment to assist machine operators.
• Makes simple adjustments or repairs such as realigning belts or replacing rollers.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly work and operate manufacturing equipment
• Follow safety guidelines & procedures

Work Environment and Essential Physical Demands

• You must be able to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours a day. This includes but is not limited to:
• Frequently and repetitively lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs., and carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs.
• Frequently and repetitively bend, lift and reach to install vehicle parts.
• Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time.
• Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding or other high structures.
• Potential exposure to confined spaces and hazardous materials used in the painting process.
• You must be able to perform assembly work and receive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing.
• You will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps.
• You must be able to read, speak and understand English, both written and verbal.

This is a full-time positions with excellent benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off (PTO), Holiday pay beginning immediately, and 401K options with company matching.

Full-time, Day Shift, 40 hours/week plus 8-10 hours of overtime per week during our peak season (occasional Saturday shifts).


Requirements


Builders must be able to understand both written and verbal instructions and follow established safety guidelines when using machines and tools.


Previous experience using or eager to learn how to use the following equipment:


Drills/Screw Gun Staple Gun Tape Measure Rubber Mallet Chop Saw and/or Table Saw
