Assembly Supervisor Careers

An assembly Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the assembly line activities in a factory. This includes tasks such as preparing work schedules and assigning tasks to employees on the assembly line. You are to develop plans that ensure continuous improvements in the production schedule and maintain regular production quality. As an assembly supervisor, ensuring that work operations are carried out according to the right policies is your responsibility. You have to publish new or revise old safety procedures in the work area. An assembly supervisor makes the operating reports and performs technical reviews to meet the OSHA plant requirements.

The least requirement for this role is a high school diploma or a GED although a bachelor's degree is more preferable for some companies. You should also possess good leadership skills, be an effective time manager, and have good communication skills. An assembly supervisor should also be able to operate machinery and train new employees. The average income of an assembly supervisor is between $34,290 and $95,800 annually.
