Responsibilities Have a working knowledge of the basics and functionality of Tubular Running Service (TRS) Manual Handling Equipment, Power Equipment, Bucking Units and Thread Monitoring Systems as it applies to the assigned business segment. Work with hand tools and operate hydraulically activated equipment Rig up, run, and rig down various components on a drilling rig. A Mammography Technician (Mammo Tech) is a specialized radiologic technologist who operates mammography equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures for detecting breast abnormalities. These images, known as mammograms, help to screen for breast cancer and other breast-related conditions. Mammography Technicians are trained to perform the procedure, ensure patient comfort, maintain a high standard of image quality, and assist in patient care throughout the process. Key Responsibilities: Performing Mammograms: Position and prepare patients for mammography exams, ensuring they are comfortable and properly positioned. Operate mammography equipment to capture clear, accurate images of the breast tissue. Ensure proper compression of the breast during imaging to obtain the best possible images while minimizing discomfort for the patient. Assist patients with undressing and putting on a gown, as well as positioning the breast for imaging. Perform digital mammograms and, if necessary, additional views to obtain complete images of the breast. Patient Care and Comfort: Greet patients and explain the procedure, answering any questions to alleviate anxiety. Educate patients on the importance of mammograms, helping them understand the process and ensuring they know what to expect. Reassure patients during the exam, maintaining a calm and empathetic demeanor. Monitor patients for discomfort or any issues during the procedure and adjust accordingly.
