Assembly technician job in Hudson, NH
Perform a wide variety of electronic or mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or subassemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing component installation, substrate lamination, hand cutting and cleaning on assembly units. Make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. Perform the various tasks necessary to assemble electronic assemblies for production. This includes the documentation necessary to track the traveler and the assembler's performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Mechanically assemble sub-systems integrating electronic components from work instructions and assembly drawings
Manipulation of items using a variety of tools while using a microscope
Maintain logs and paperwork and forms accurately
Operates and troubleshoots production line machinery and computers
Meet/exceed production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards
Self-monitoring of workmanship
Understand and follow all safety requirements, as well as ISO Practices and Procedures
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Typically requires at least 1 year of experience working with computer hardware components
CompTIA A+ Certification (equal to 2 years of work experience)
CompTIA IT Fundamentals Certification (equal to 1 year of work experience)
Experience with the following IPC standards preferred: IPC J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620
Certification as a CIS (or CIT) to IPC standard IPC-A-610 or the ability to successfully obtain certification within 6 months of hire (required).
Mechanical Assembly skills, including the ability to recognize non-conformities
Ability to work under a microscope
Ability to read schematics/drawings
Ability to multi-task and work in a flexible and changing environment with multiple competing deadlines
ESD knowledgeable
Enthusiastic, cooperative, and positive behavior
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree in computer technology or related field (preferred)
Solder skills are a plus, but not required

Hands-on technician who supports PCB process engineering and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment, executing operator-level process runs and DOEs, collecting and validating process data, supporting root-cause investigations, and maintaining clear operator documentation.

Maintain and update operator-level documentation (short sheets, SOPs, checklists) in clear, concise language; implement simple poka-yoke/error-proofing where feasible.
Perform in-process inspections, first-article checks, and basic quality verification; document nonconformances and escalate to Quality/Engineering.
Assist in equipment qualification, process capability studies (Cp/Cpk) data collection, and process transfers during NPI and scale-up events.
Support purchasing/maintenance in identifying tooling, fixtures, and consumables needed for trials.
Participate in continuous improvement activities and cross-functional NPI meetings.

This position may require overtime for coverage on alternate shifts and weekends.

Who You Are:
As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for the packaging and labeling of the finished goods at our cultivation and manufacturing centers. You will be responsible for the production of a variety of finished products including packaged, dried flower, pre-rolls, vape cartridges and vape pens, and infused products.
