Job Description
FULL-TIME: SOLDERING Technician / Electronics Assembler- Candidate will be assembling circuit boards and utilizing SMT and thru-hole soldering techniques. Candidates MUST HAVE strong SOLDERING background and electrical assembly experience.
1. Must follow standard operating procedures and written instructions which vary by assembly.
2. Operate production equipment; utilize tools to complete assemblies in accordance with operation policies and procedures; strict attention to detail required and documentation of work flows and test results.
3. Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs), Job Safety, FDA GMP standards.
4. Complete daily production logs.
5. Communicate with other assemblers, technicians, manager and other department members as necessary; Maintain safe and clean work environment.
6. Assist Manufacturing in repair work.
Qualifications
Surface mount technology operations, fine pitch soldering, rework. Must be able to work within a small range of motion as the instrument has many small components where soldering and reworking is necessary.
Working under a microscope is a big plus as is prior Medical devices experience. Successful candidate must possess the ability to work in a regulated environment and work in both team, independent modes and multi-task. Ability to perform hands-on assembly tasks and also must possess proficiency with tools and related equipment in a manufacturing setting.
Basic reading, writing, arithmetic skills and a familiarity with computers.
Attention to detail and quality of work are required skills.
Desired: 3-5 years of relevant experience in an electro-mechanical assembly production environment required (preferably in the medical device field). Ability to perform hands-on assembly tasks and also must possess proficiency with tools and related equipment in a manufacturing setting. .
Education: High School Diploma / GED
Technical School Electronics / Soldering / Mechanical / Circuit Board training SMT and thru-hole soldering experience needed Technical school training or Associates (AS) degree

PERMANENT-FULL TIME position - Clean work in a pleasant environment - work hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday. Rate of Pay $15.00 to $17.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
