The Engineer, Network is responsible for the implementation and support of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN and SDWAN to support critical healthcare operations across The Guthrie Clinic (TGC). This role ensures high availability and performance for clinical systems, patient care services, and administrative functions across the hospital network. The Engineer collaborates with IT teams, vendors, and hospital stakeholders to align network solutions with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. This position will be a technology advocate throughout the organization for the effective application of technology to meet business needs and to support business changes and growth. Technology functions include network infrastructure, architecture and protocols (routers, switches, wireless controllers, access points, firewalls, network appliances), network automation and operations, patch management, application delivery, monitoring and cloud computing.
Experience:
Preferred three to five (3 to 5) years of experience in implementing and managing complex network infrastructure in an enterprise environment; healthcare experience preferred.
Highly experienced information systems professional with a strong technical background and proven track record of accomplishments in a large, complex multi-level organization.
Experience in network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS) and technologies (e.g., Cisco, Extreme, Palo Alto).
Proficiency in network security tools (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC).
Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) and cloud-based network solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure).

GENERAL SUMMARY

Loads/unloads machines and makes all required adjustments.
Performs 1st piece inspection and qualifies set up for production. Additionally, performs all designed quality controls checks recording findings in the quality control records.
Responsible for the output and quality of products produced by the machine and by others.
Maintains required documentation including FDA packets. Reviews batch records and reconciles jobs.
Oversees/coordinates the work of Manufacturing Team Members (MTM), as assigned.
Performs and documents time studies.
Provides back up to MTM as assigned.
Participates and completes all assigned training. Provides training and assistance to other MTM and MSO as necessary.
Maintains a clean and clutter free work environment.

The Cable Assembly Precision Soldering Associate is responsible for performing precision hand soldering and cable assembly by hand for complex cable and harness solutions. This position ensures all work meets the requirements of IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, J-STD-001, and customer-specific quality standards. This position supports both prototype and production builds, contributing to the success of high-mix, low-volume wire and cable assembly organization in a highly-regulated aerospace, defense, and medical environment.Key Responsibilities
Perform precision hand soldering using various types of techniques such as solder cups, J-hooks and through-hole in order to assemble and build highly complex cables and wire harnesses. Must be able to solder without burning through the insulation or connectors.
Requires a high level of accuracy to support manual assembly and production of our cable & wire harness products. This role is required to follow IPC and engineering standards.
Inspect solder joints and assemblies for quality compliance per IPC-A-610 Class II and III criteria, IPC-A-620, and J-STD-001.
Use soldering irons, mag-lights, and ESD-safe tools safely and effectively.
Interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and assembly documentation to ensure accuracy and following detailed instructions.
Identify and report nonconformances, process deviations, or quality issues promptly.
Maintain ESD compliance and ensure safe handling of sensitive electronic components where required.
Support process engineers and production leads in troubleshooting assembly and solder-related defects and continuous improvement activities.
Participate in 5S and Lean manufacturing initiatives to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
Accurately complete production records, inspection logs, and traceability documentation in compliance with AS9100 and ITAR regulations.
Perform other duties as required to support a wide variety of cable and wire harness production assembly.
Qualifications
Education / Experience:
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or IPC certification preferred.
Minimum 1 year of precision soldering experience.
Wire, cable or harness assembly soldering in an ISO- or AS9100-certified environment preferred.
Experience in aerospace, defense, or medical device manufacturing strongly preferred.
Skills / Competencies:
Proficiency in IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, and J-STD-001 soldering standards (certification preferred) in wire harness and cable assembly.

* Conducts all aspects of job responsibilities in compliance with the JM Murray mission statement, policies and procedures, professional standards, and applicable governmental laws, rules and regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Mixing and blending: Accurately weighing and combining raw ingredients according to specific formulas and batch records.
* Equipment operation: Operating and cleaning specialized equipment, such as mixers, blenders, and filtration systems.
* Quality control: Monitoring production processes, verifying measurements and ingredient ratios, and collaborating with quality control teams to address any deviations.
* Documentation: Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all batch production, procedures, and results.
* Safety and sanitation: Adhering to all safety protocols and GMP guidelines, and sanitizing and preparing equipment according to quality standards.
* Material handling: Moving and transferring raw materials and finished products, which may require lifting heavy containers.
* Required to wear PPE as per job duties, e.g. respirator, hairnet, etc.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Sets up and operates manufacturing machines and equipment including, but not limited to, automated manufacturing machines, injection mold machines, liquid fill machines, shrink wrappers, digital scales, pallet jacks, etc.
* Troubleshoots and performs routine maintenance, as required.
* Loads/unloads machines and makes all required adjustments.
* Performs 1st piece inspection and qualifies set up for production. Additionally, performs all designed quality controls checks recording findings in the quality control records.
* Responsible for the output and quality of products produced by the machine and by others.
* Maintains required documentation including FDA packets. Reviews batch records and reconciles jobs.
* Oversees/coordinates the work of Manufacturing Team Members (MTM), as assigned.
* Performs and documents time studies.
* Provides back up to MTM as assigned.
* Participates and completes all assigned training. Provides training and assistance to other MTM and MSO as necessary.
* Maintains a clean and clutter free work environment.
* When assigned, requisitions needed parts for jobs, performs material handling functions in work areas including but not limited to moving raw materials to production areas, transferring finished goods as needed, etc.
* Represents JM Murray and the JM Murray mission in a positive manner, treating people with dignity and respect.
* Performs additional duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED, with a technical or vocational background being a plus.
Previous experience in a manufacturing, compounding, or quality control environment
Familiarity with compounding procedures and legal/regulatory compliance standards
1 yr. experience with machine operation and/or a production environment preferred
KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS
Basic reading and comprehension skills and the ability to follow written instructions are required
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
The ability to be highly accurate in measurements and to follow complex instructions precisely is critical.
Basic computer skills for data entry and utilizing reports
Ability to follow verbal instructions and return communication
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Required to pass annual mask fitting test
WORKING CONDITIONS
Job assignments primarily may take place indoors. Assignments may take place in different locations of the production floor or in another JM Murray location.

Assembler Job Details:
Consistently meet production goals
Follow instructions and diagrams to assemble components
Maintain inventory to ensure consistent flow and to avoid assembly delays.
Conduct inventory counts at the end of each production schedule.
