The primary role of the Modular Assembler is to perform duties required to facilitate the assembly and fabrication of modular components. This role includes constructing modules using conduit, insulation, sheet metal, and structural framing. Modular Assemblers will be required to work in a shop environment, operate a variety of hand and power tools, and follow all safety protocols and workplace procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality, precision-built systems.
1st Shift/Days: Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm
2nd Shift/Nights: Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-1:00am
Role Responsibilities
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to meet project specifications
• Measure, cut, and assemble modular framing and components
• Assemble and install conduit, insulation, sheet metal, and structural elements
• Join materials using screws, bolts, adhesives, and welding techniques
• Measure, cut, or shape steel, wood, and other construction materials
• Construct framing systems, interior partitions, and support structures
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and trade-specific machinery
• Position and install parts and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, and hoists
• Inspect and document product compliance and report defects
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the shop area
• Accurately take measurements and calculate material needs
• Perform equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
• Train new employees and support continuous improvement efforts
• Interpret job orders and execute work instructions
• Handle materials and track production metrics
• Perform other tasks as assigned Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Post-secondary training or technical certification is a plus
• Hands-on experience in fabrication, modular assembly, or construction
• Ability to operate equipment in a safe and responsible manner

• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams

Technician Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
Grind, sand, clean, or polish objects or parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand tools and power tools
Maintain inventory of product in work stations
Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
Verify quality of finished workpieces by inspecting them, comparing them to templates, measuring their dimensions, or testing them in working machinery
Move controls to adjust, start, or stop equipment during grinding and polishing processes
Remove completed workpieces from equipment or work tables, using hand tools, and place workpieces in containers
Measure and mark equipment, objects, or parts to ensure grinding and polishing standards are met
Transfer equipment, objects, or parts to specified work areas, using moving devices.
Trim, scrape, or deburr objects or parts, using chisels, scrapers, and other hand tools and equipment
Tumble parts as needed per customer requirements
Repair and maintain equipment, objects, or parts, using hand tools
File grooved, contoured, and irregular surfaces of metal objects, such as metalworking dies and machine parts, to conform to templates, other parts, layouts, or blueprint specifications
Mark defects, such as knotholes, cracks, and splits, for repair
Study blueprints or layouts to determine how to lay out workpieces or saw out templates
Sharpen abrasive grinding tools, using machines and hand tools
Load and adjust workpieces onto equipment or work tables, using hand tools
Record product and processing data on specified forms
Select files or other abrasives, according to materials, sizes and shapes of workpieces, amount of stock to be removed, finishes specified, and steps in finishing processes
Apply solutions and chemicals to equipment, objects, or parts, using hand tools

Check parts to ensure all operations have been completed properly

Job Requirements
Soldering experience; Certification of IPC-610(preferred) and J-STD-001, or willing to obtain upon hire
Hand Soldering skills (through hole and surface mount components)
Eligible or already have security clearance (highly desirable)

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Under general direction, this position is responsible for all aspects of scheduling, estimating, and performing on-site installation of signage and large format graphics. This includes a variety of flat panel substrates, post & panel projects, and application of pressure-sensitive vinyl's according to written instructions. This position must proofread signs and conduct quality assurance to ensure accurate fulfillment of projects. There is a significant degree of customer interaction in this position. Professional demeanor and appearance is required, along with a customer service focus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Follow instructions to accurately install a variety of flat panel signage, post and panel, and full-color graphic images in various circumstances. Interior and Exterior.
2. Maintain an accurate, written schedule reflecting all installation commitments. Set and achieve project deadlines.
3. Consult with sales staff to provide accurate estimates of labor time and to set realistic deadlines.
4. Maintain strong lines of communication with sales staff and promptly answer messages/questions. Accurately relay project details to sales staff and customers.
5. Adhere to industry-standard safety practices. Operate all tools and equipment according to specified safety requirements.
6. Perform advance site visits, obtaining and relaying necessary information for accurate quoting and production of the product.
7. Assist with general sign production duties as needed.
8. Work on multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
10. Present and maintain a good driving record. Safely operate all vehicles and promptly report any incidents/infractions.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required
Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers and fractions and converting fractions to decimals and vice versa)
Able to work well under pressure to output high volume, high quality work.
Able to stand / kneel for long periods of time.
Must have the flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back forth hand motions to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate.
Able to lift 50 or more pounds
Able to use light power equipment

Role Responsibilities
* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to meet project specifications
* Measure, cut, and assemble modular framing and components
* Assemble and install conduit, insulation, sheet metal, and structural elements
* Join materials using screws, bolts, adhesives, and welding techniques
* Measure, cut, or shape steel, wood, and other construction materials
* Construct framing systems, interior partitions, and support structures
* Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and trade-specific machinery
* Position and install parts and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, and hoists
* Inspect and document product compliance and report defects
* Maintain cleanliness and safety in the shop area
* Accurately take measurements and calculate material needs
* Perform equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
* Train new employees and support continuous improvement efforts
* Interpret job orders and execute work instructions
* Handle materials and track production metrics
* Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Post-secondary training or technical certification is a plus
* Hands-on experience in fabrication, modular assembly, or construction
* Ability to operate equipment in a safe and responsible manner
* Effective communication and time management skills
* Strong mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge
* Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
* Knowledge of appropriate materials, fabrication methods, and safety practices
* Ability to identify defects and maintain quality control
* Ability to work independently and complete tasks on schedule
* Familiarity with construction and fabrication techniques
* Must be able to work safely and efficiently in a shop environment
* Knowledge of First Aid, CPR, and hazard identification is a plus
* Knowledge of workplace safety practices, PPE, and safe lifting procedures
Minimum Physical Requirements and Accountability
* Work predominately inside and in dusty and noisy areas
* Work in high places, tight places, and confined spaces
* Climb, balance, squat, kneel, and crouch
* Stand for long periods of time
* Lift and carry 51 to 75 lbs. occasionally, 31 to 45 lbs. frequently, and up to 22 lbs. constantly
* Use of Personal Protection Equipment will be required (e.g. safety glasses, gloves, boots, etc.)
* Regularly work near moving mechanical parts and in variable temperatures
* Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects safely over time
* Comply with all company policies and procedures

What You'll Be Working On:
Switchgear Assembly: Assemble low voltage switchgear according to detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions, installing components such as circuit breakers, bus bars, relays, transformers, and control wiring.
Mechanical Assembly: Perform mechanical assembly of enclosures, mounting rails, and support structures, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
Wiring and Connections: Terminate and connect various types of electrical wires and cables, ensuring proper crimping, lugging, and labeling of connections, and adhering to color coding conventions and wiring standards.
Inspecting and Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections of assembled switchgear, performing continuity tests and other quality checks, troubleshooting and resolving any assembly or wiring issues.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
Electrical Experience: 2+ years of proven experience in the assembly and wiring of low voltage switchgear or similar electrical equipment.
Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Technical or vocational training in electrical or electronics fields is preferred.
Electrical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical principles and safety practices.
Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
Physical Requirements: Requires lifting, lowering, pushing, and pulling all sizes of merchandise up to 50 lbs. Requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop, & bend for 8 hours or more daily. Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back.
