The Manufacturing Assembly Technician is a key member of the Manufacturing team, and will be literally assembling, calibrating, and testing our Instrument from top to bottom. It's a fairly repetitive role, and for someone who likes the challenge of piecing together a big puzzle every day that involves moderately difficult electromechanical systems, combined with the knowledge that your hands are building the tech of the future, it will be a great fit. Associates Degree or other 2-year technical diploma preferred OR 5+ years of military training and experience testing, and troubleshooting of large military platforms to be considered in lieu of technical diploma. 1-2+ years experience in a manufacturing environment that involves assembling products with any combination of electronics, robotics, or mechanical components Physical Requirement: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work while standing for extended periods and be comfortable bending, leaning, reaching, and working in and around machinery as part of daily job duties. Experience debugging and repairing electrical components using soldering irons and multimeters. Must be proficient with electrical reworks such as cable repairs, and surface mount and through hole PCB reworks. Must use and understand the application of common hand tools, various industry nomenclatures, and have strong assembly skills. Must be a self-starter who looks for ways to improve the job and related processes and shows initiative in execution.
